Key Equipment is a growing regional provider of construction and industrial equipment and supplies. From our new facility in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania Key is able to effectively serve the Southeast and Central Pennsylvania market.

In June of 2008 Key acquired 82 Rents, Inc a local tool and equipment rental center located in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. 82 Rents was established in March of 1999 and served thousands of contractors, municipalities and property owners in Chester, Berks, Montgomery, Lancaster and Delaware Counties. 82 Rents long-time manger, Ron Beam, now serves as General Manger for Key’s operation in Honey Brook.

Key Equipment is a privately held corporation with Brian Funk as President. Mr. Funk lives in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons. Prior to owning and operating Key Equipment Brian was a highly successful Sales Representative at Modern Equipment Sales & Rental. Brian’s father, Al Funk, serves as Director and Key’s Senior Advisor. Prior to his involvement with Key Al served as President of Modern Equipment. During Al’s 22 years with Modern the business grew from one employee and one location to over 150 employees and 10 branch locations. Brian’s brother, Ed Funk, is Senior VP Sales, and has driven Key’s success in obtaining commercial accounts.
